In class, one of our assignments was to create the nameplate and design a magazine cover. I ended up creating four for each season (left to right, Spring, Summer, Winter, Fall) and went on to use Pastel Magazine for another project (below). The identity of the magazine is young and edgy, and despite the name "Pastel" meaning soft colors, I wanted the covers to contradict it in a colorful yet tasteful way.

A Poster for the Pastel Magazine Fashion Show, which I entered into and placed 2nd in the GAERF, a national student design competition hosted by Graphic Arts Education and Research Foundation. The main idea of the competition was print with a "twist." Mine was the QR codes at the bottom that when "Zapped" with an app called Zappar, opened up an interactive digital experience in which you could add the event to your device's calendar, watch the show's intro video and commercial, and view a gallery of different versions in creating the poster's design.
To continue with the theme of magazines, another assignment in class was to create a two-page spread. With my article, I decided to focus on spring fashion trends and created a piece that could be found in the magazine I created.
In my Junior year, my school was approached by the Berks Gymnastics team to create the cover of their annual book. Out of everyone in my school, I was chosen to create the cover for the client. The cover features their four graduating seniors for that year, 2015.

In my free time in my junior year, I created an ad campaign for a fake perfume I called "Pas Vrai Parfum" which included a full page magazine ad and a billboard.
Another live-work example, I was asked to create two 4 foot by 12 foot banners to hang on the auditorium stage for one of HOSA's events.
